Floby parish is part of the Church of Sweden and the Diocese of Skara, consisting of 3 congregations, with 17 churches and cemeteries and also 6 parish halls.

Floby parish is looking for a full-time cemetery worker (100%).

As a cemetery worker in Floby parish, you will work with all tasks related to cemetery work.

You are the church's face to the public and meet people in various stages of life.

Work may occur throughout the parish and on-call work is included in the position.

Main Responsibilities:

• Maintenance of green areas (e.g., mowing, trimming, hedge cutting, and leaf collection)
• Maintenance of gravel areas (e.g., weed removal, edging, and raking)
• Grave care (e.g., planting and watering)
• Property maintenance and minor repairs (e.g., painting, carpentry, etc.)
• Grave openings
• Maintenance of machines and, to some extent, repairs and service
• Cleaning
• Snow removal

Qualifications:

• Strong ability to collaborate/work in a team
• Good organizational skills
• Service-oriented and good social skills
• Able to work independently and take responsibility
• Driving license B is required

It is an advantage if you have experience in cemetery work, park work, plant knowledge, machine operation, vehicle repairs, carpentry, or other equivalent qualifications, as well as if you have a license for wheel loaders, excavators, chainsaws/brush cutters, and/or certification for smaller cranes.
